Default Free Track Day

NESBA has an option to be in the intro group where I you get to ride around a track for free but only for half a day. Has anybody ever gone to one of these or looked into it?

NESBA puts on a good event. They are a smaller group though and they don't run that many tracks. You may have trouble finding an event in your area. They are pretty much only in the north east. Their instructors are some of the best I've seen though.

The morning has only 2 sessions, just to let you guys know before you start prepping your bikes and driving hours. Thats not enough time to learn the track for an experienced track guy.

Well it's free track time and it's an hour away from me so it seems like a good deal.

Do yourself a favor and bring enough money to get in the B group. You will get hooked.

I've seen that some organizations let you ride free for half the day if you do corner work the other half, or you get a free day for each day you work. Not a bad way to save money if the track is pretty nearby, and you could learn a lot just by hanging around, observing, and talking to the people at the track.

The website says if they have room you can stick around for the whole day. It seems super expensive tho (like 195 for the riding and another 30 for being a member) which is not impossible but I have a hard time justifying it. We'll see how half a day feels and take it from there. I don't even think I need to prep my bike besides unplugging my brake lights.
