1996 cbr 600 f3 smokin joe trouble starting
-1996 Cbr 600 F3 smokin joes race replica!
-Its getting fuel !
-Its got all Kinds of Spark !
-I cleaned the Carbs 2 days ago the pilots were clogged
-I bought the bike in peices not running for cheap from a broke friend lol
Now he had the coil wires and plug wires all in the wrong spots! i have the honda repair manual for it! i have the plug wires going to the right spots. acording to the book , (left coil ) runs number 2,3. (right coil) runs 1,4. now the book is hard to understand witch coil wire goes where ! i think i got it right bc i have spark, Now i am missing the air solenoid valve i have most the vaccume lines hooked up! the carbs are just sitting on the intake manifold (clamped down) So the bike will role and role and role but wont catch enough to fire! i have my four wheeler batterie in it! still rolls over pretty good! im stumped! it will cough when u pour gas directly down the carb. i am waiting for the air solenoid valve to come in that i orderd! will the bike run without it ? will the bike run with just the carbs on the manifold ? where exactly do the coil wires go ? If any one has some advise that would be awsome i am also waiting on new plugs even tho these ones look okay! Thanks Kyle feel free to check out the bike and see some things iv done to it and mod sugestions ? thanks again

You need the boots attaching the carbs to the engine, other-wise you have a giant vacume leak.
The coils attach with the black/white and yellow/blue from the spark-unit to the 1-4 cylinder's coils.
The blue/yellow and the wire from the engine stop switch go to the 2-3 cylinder's coil.
Hope this helps, Ern

Up date...
So i did complete the bypass last night. My fuel cut relay blew up last night so i disconected it and completly bypassed my fuel pump. i am waiting for parts. so all of this is temperary, Now i have a huge flat spot around 4500 rpm is this normal ? the vent coming out of my valve cover where does that go during the bypass ? Thanks

This might sound too simple but it worked for me. My bike was sitting for like 2 years and it had gas, new plugs, and would crank and crank and crank. What I did cost about 6 bucks and its just using starter fluid. Its literally one of the greatest things out there engines. Now i used it because the bike sat for a long time and I think had some clogs and just wouldn't work. Spray the fluid into the ram air vent under the headlight while cranking the motor and you might get lucky doing that. My bike now starts fine ever time, just needed that extra kick
