Some of my friends have asked me what will my bike pull in the 1/4 mile and i really dont know I was hoping that i could get some answers from you guys. So what would a cbr 600rr run in the quarter with a good rider on it. My buddy just got a 04 600 f4I what would that run in the quarter? Let me know the time and the trap speed if you Know THanks

 

Honda CBR600F4i ('01) HP 95.5 @ 12,500 TQ 42.6 @ 10,250 1/4mi 10.71 @ 126.7
Honda CBR600RR ('03) HP 105.4 @ 13,500 TQ 43.7 @ 11,250 1/4mi 10.94 @ 127.13

From Motorcyclist -- '03 was last year 600RR they tested -- not much new except colors so #'s are probably still close.

 

For comparison, the 1000RR is 10.24 @ 140.9mph

Apparantly. Those were Motorcyclist's results. They were done on different days (hell, different years actually) with different riders. Just proves that those two beasts are close. The RR is more of a track bike than a 1/4 demon so I'm not really surprised.

Ya, the rider is always a big factor in 1/4 times. I subscribed to Motorcyclist (before they sucked[8D]) and they would run 5 to 10 1/4mi passes and only list the best one. Then at some point they started correcting for sea level and temp. So basically those numbers are just what those particular machines did on a certain day. Go to a local track and post some numbers along with your mods.
