But after I have warmed it up and ride it, it will not start again after I turn it off. No crank nothing...I would have to wait about 10 to 20 minutes sometime to be able to start it up again. can anyone help?

Those are both normal. The frame gets hot due the the regulator/rectifier and the fan should kick on around 220F and go off around 205F.

When a fuel injected bike won't crank when warm it's usually a bad sensor. Either the MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor or the IAT (intake air temp).

Get a hold of a manual ... it will have the specs for you to check out these sensors with a meter.

I have the same issue with my 2002 F4i. I don't think it
s my rectifier because it looks like it's been changed with a Gixxer model. I have to try and bump start the bike. Sometimes it works and when it doesn't I sometimes hit the switch after I've rolled it down the street a bit and it will fire up but really slowly like it wants to die again from lack of voltage. I'm thinking I may have a bad battery.

My whole dash will reset as well. If I hold the starter button down it will crank just a bit and everything will turn off until I release the button then everything will come back on. The starter will not continue to click as if it has low voltage.

Could it still be one of the sensors?
